Assignment 9

Figure Painting Block-In: Student Choice

Select a block-in method analogous to the master artist being studied. Devote a day to complete the block-in, setting up the painting to be continued the following day. The next day, render out the figure painting further. Focus on one area to develop if the entire figure proves too much. Initially, back poses are recommended to increase the likelihood of developing a painting more successfully. If selecting a front pose, omit detail in the head to focus on the figure.
